I have had a love for dogs and animals all of my life . I look back on Summers in 4-H  Camp at Animal Friends Summer Camp sponsored by The Animal Rescue League of Boston and many other dog/animal related activities . My father was my inspiration , as he had the same passion for dogs . From as early as I can remember I have had Dogs in my life .  I fell in love with a few Breeds along the way but my passion  began the day  I  laid eyes on my first Berner . Then I knew this was the Breed for me . In April of 1998  I lovingly took in my first  Berner   " Bentley " as a companion and  quickly became interested  in  Obedience and  Conformation , which I continued with, as he  started to mature and looked promising . I continued on over the past 9 years with the idea that our dogs are our family . We are not big breeders - we are just Berner people .  Our dogs are our life , not our livelihood.  We hope to continue in Berners  and breed when we feel we are ready for additions to our family first . My goal is to improve upon any and all aspects of my dogs . I will always strive to produce Bernese that are of correct temperament, correct breed type, that have the mental ability to work in any area, that are healthy and structurally sound and are most importantly excellent family members.  My own dogs are my pets first, show/working dogs second.  I am dedicated to the improvement of this breed in our health goals and in keeping with strict Swiss tradition of type, structure, temperament and longevity. I am an active member of the Bernese Mountain Dog  Club of America , BMD Club of Nashoba Valley , the Cape Cod Kennel Club and a supporter of Berner Rescue .  I welcome a chance to talk with you and share our experiences and yours.
